Account & Profile Details: Full name, phone number, email address, password hash, avatar, and campus hostel / landmark.
Verification & KYC (For Sellers & Couriers): Student identification, merchant tier documentation, bank account numbers for withdrawals, and vehicle details (for dispatch drivers).
Transaction & Escrow Data: Order records, offer amounts, negotiation history, delivery tracking, and Paystack payment references. We do not store raw credit/debit card numbers.
Communications & Real-Time Messages: End-to-end chat logs between buyers and sellers, negotiation counter-offers, and customer support tickets.
Technical & Telemetry Data: IP address, device model, operating system, and anonymous analytics to diagnose errors and prevent DDoS attacks.

To match buyers and sellers with verified campus listings.
To manage escrow fund deposits, handshake verification, and instant bank payouts.
To dispatch nearby peer couriers for rapid campus package runs.
To notify users of counter-offers, order updates, and chat messages via real-time SSE alerts and WhatsApp automation.
To enforce community safety, detect duplicate fraudulent accounts, and prevent scams.

3. Strict PII Isolation Protocol

FUTA MART implements strict automated data isolation. Your phone number, full legal name, and delivery room numbers are never exposed publicly on marketplace listing cards or public search results. Contact details are only revealed to the counterparty after mutual offer agreement and escrow funding.

Processes inline card payments, bank transfers, and automated withdrawals securely.

Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage

Secure encrypted storage for product images, receipts, and KYC documents.

We use secure browser cookies and localStorage exclusively for core functionality: maintaining your login session, storing dark/light theme choices, remembering draft listing inputs, and caching offline feeds in our Progressive Web App (PWA) service worker.

Access & Export: You can review your profile, transaction history, and stored listings anytime in your Dashboard.
Correction: You may edit your store details, phone number, and password directly in Account Settings.
Account Deletion: You have the right to request full account closure and deletion of personal data by contacting our compliance desk.
