FUTA MART ensures complete transparency across all financial transactions. Whether you are funding an escrow order, advertising a store, or requesting a bank payout, this policy describes how fees are calculated, deducted, and protected.

1. Campus Escrow Protection Protocol

Every order paid through FUTA MART is held in escrow until delivery is finalized.

Payment Methods: Buyers can fund orders via Paystack (Debit/Credit Card, USSD, Bank Transfer) or their internal wallet balance.
Quarantined Release: Sellers receive notification that funds are in escrow, but money cannot be accessed or withdrawn until the buyer physically inspects the item and provides the secret PIN.
Automatic Timeout: Orders unfulfilled or unconfirmed after 48 hours are automatically cancelled and refunded back to the buyer's wallet.

2. Advertising & Daily Boost Rates

Merchants seeking greater visibility can promote listings or run native campus ads:

3. Store Balance Reinvestment (No Surcharge)

Sellers can transfer funds directly from their marketplace sales balance to their advertising wallet using the Reinvest with Wallet Balance feature. Transfers are processed atomically with 0% fee and zero gateway deduction, allowing merchants to seamlessly reinvest sales revenue into advertising.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Mutual Cancellation: If both parties agree to cancel before dispatch, 100% of the item amount and delivery fee is refunded immediately to the buyer's wallet.
Defective or Mismatched Item: If an item is rejected during physical handshake inspection, the buyer should refuse to share the PIN and tap "Report Issue". Following brief verification, escrow is returned in full.
Withdrawal Refunds: If a bank transfer fails due to invalid account details or banking network downtime, the withdrawal is rejected and balance is restored to the seller wallet automatically.
